Dr. Sonya Sethi (formerly Gohill)
Founder of Brentwood Pediatrics & Pediatrician
Dr. Sonya founded Brentwood Pediatrics in 2010 to create a practice where families feel known, supported, and never rushed. She has cared for patients from newborns to young adults for more than 20 years and is known for her calm presence, thoughtful communication, and personalized approach to pediatric care.
Dr. Sonya earned her degree in Human Biology with Honors from Stanford University and attended medical school at UCLA, where she also completed her pediatric residency. She has dedicated time to volunteer medical work both locally and internationally, providing care in underserved communities in Bali, India, Mexico, and Ecuador. These experiences have deepened her appreciation for cultural connection, compassion, and global health.
As both a pediatrician and a mother, Dr. Sonya believes in taking the time to truly understand each child and family she cares for. Her goal is to blend evidence-based medicine with warmth and connection, offering clarity and thoughtful guidance as children grow.
